The right tracking solution for every asset
No two assets or applications are the same. A valuable trailer that is on the road every day needs a different solution than a hand truck, roll container or tool.
That is why FleetGO offers different forms of Asset Tracking. From affordable Bluetooth trackers for smaller assets to rugged, fully standalone GPS trackers for trailers, containers and machinery, for example.
The way you want to track also varies. Sometimes a periodic location update is enough to know where an asset is. In other situations, you want to track more intensively, for example by recording the location more frequently once an asset starts moving.

Standalone battery-powered GPS Asset Trackers
For assets without a fixed power supply, FleetGO offers several GPS Asset Trackers with their own battery and SIM card. These trackers operate fully standalone and send their location data to FleetGO independently.
The batteries are easy to replace yourself. In the FleetGO portal, you can view the current battery status and receive an alert when the battery is running low.
Depending on the type of asset and the tracking frequency you need, you can choose from several models. If you want the longest possible battery life, choose a tracker with a larger battery capacity. For smaller assets, a more compact model can be the better choice, as the tracker is easier and less conspicuous to mount.

This lets you select a tracker not only by size and battery life, but also by how intensively you want to track. After all, an asset whose location you only need periodically places different demands on the battery than an asset whose movements you want to follow much more closely.
Bluetooth Asset Tracking for tools and smaller assets
Not every asset needs a standalone GPS tracker with a SIM card. For smaller assets such as tools, hand trucks, roll containers and smaller machines, FleetGO offers Bluetooth Asset Tracking.
You fit the asset with a compact BLE beacon. As soon as a vehicle with a FleetGO unit comes nearby, the asset’s location is recorded automatically. In FleetGO, you then see the last known location and the location history. This way, you can quickly find out where your equipment was last detected.
Because the Bluetooth trackers do not need a SIM card, this is a cost-efficient way to track large numbers of smaller assets. The beacons are also easy to link to assets and reassign. This means you can add more and more assets to your Asset Tracking solution without complex installation.
