We are very proud to announce that the CubiQ IX4 has been officially certified in accordance with the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) (2014/53/EU). By obtaining the official KIWA certification, the CubiQ IX4 meets all requirements for radio equipment in both the United Kingdom and the European Union. The certification was carried out by KIWA, an independent and internationally recognized agency in the field of quality assurance. As such, the latest version of the CubiQ also carries the UKCA mark (for the UK market) and the CE mark (for the European market) – proof of compliance with strict UK and European laws and regulations.

What requirements has the CubiQ IX4 been tested for?

The CubiQ IX4 is tested and approved by the Radio Equipment Directive on Article 3.1 (a and b) and Article 3.2:

  • Safety requirements: the CubiQ IX4 is designed to work safely without the risk of dangerous situations. These include electrical shock, physical injury, fire and explosion hazards.
  • Health requirements: the CubiQ IX4, like other devices, contains electromagnetic fields – also called radiation. This radiation must remain within the applicable equipment exposure limits at all times.
  • Interference and immunity requirements: The CubiQ IX4 uses the radio spectrum effectively and prevents interference to other wireless devices in the area. The CubiQ IX4 has also been tested for sufficient immunity to interference from other devices.
