Having previously managed administrative documents and operational tasks manually, Northern Energy lacked real-time visibility of its LPG stock and fleet movements. As the LPG side of the business continued to grow, the company needed a reliable technology partner that could streamline routine operations and support further expansion.

Following the successful introduction of FleetGO to Northern Energy’s Oils business in 2016, the company decided to integrate FleetGO’s meter tracking and onboard stock control systems into its LPG distribution operation.
FleetGO provides Northern Energy with real-time visibility of exact LPG truck locations, as well as available stock on board, enabling more efficient route planning, real-time adjustments for new LPG orders, and improved stock and vehicle security. Northern Energy has also strengthened its customer service by being able to provide LPG customers with instant delivery updates, along with the added benefit of contactless or unattended LPG deliveries.
FleetGO has also helped simplify LPG compliance by enabling digitally captured vehicle, site, tank and hose inspection forms. Northern Energy’s drivers can complete these inspections on site and upload the compliance forms immediately to Northern Energy’s ERP system, where the files are collated and stored by customer.
